About Us

A century of working wonders with metal

H W Webb Engineers has come a long way from the humble blacksmith’s forge we were in 1907.

Although we now offer state-of-the-art design, technology and engineering production facilities to 21st Century businesses in leading industries, we’re still located on the same site, at Woodton, Norfolk. Whilst we provide a range of highly specialised precision machining services including CNC Turning, CNC Milling, 5 Axis Milling and Rapid Prototyping, we still take pride in having the same craftsman’s eye for detail and commitment to engineering perfection.

From the making and repairing of agricultural machinery back then, our forte has evolved into being a leading exponent of precision machining in all kinds of metals, alloys and plastics. Problem-solving by precision engineering is what we’re about – whatever it takes. No run is too small, no problem too large. If there's a way to tackle a precision manufacturing problem, you can count on H W Webb to find it and get the job done, even with the most challenging projects and sometimes after far larger companies have failed to provide the solution.

H W Webb is a fourth-generation family firm and has been involved in precision machining and metal engineering since 1983. The company was run by father and son team, Harry and Steven Webb, both of whom had cutting oil running through their veins, it combined all the advantages of the two generations, coupling vast experience of practical engineering together with a readiness to embrace the most advanced CNC technology. Harry retired in 2012 and now Steven’s son, Harry Jnr, is working in the business to continue the family’s engineering tradition.
